Professional Career
Gardner has been a part of Major League Soccer, U.S. Open Cup and USL First Division championship teams. Gardner began his professional career with Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy, where he played in 2004-06. In 2005, he was a part of the LA team that won both the MLS and U.S. Open cups. He scored his only MLS goal on July 8, 2006 against Real Salt Lake. After being released by the Galaxy before the 2007 season, Gardner signed with USL-1’s Sounders. In his debut season in Seattle, Gardner appeared in 27 games and had one goal and three assists to help the Sounders win the league championship.
Last season, Gardner appeared in 25 games and logged six goals and an assist.
College Career
Gardner played at the University of Cincinnati in 2001-03.
