Professional Career
McKenney will play just his second professional season in 2009. He spent 2008 with the Columbus Crew Reserves.
College Career
McKenney played at the University of Akron for two seasons (2006-07) after playing two years at Dayton (2004-05). At Akron, McKenney appeared with 33 games and made 29 starts. His junior year, he anchored a defense that allowed 17 goals (0.87 GAA) and posted nine shutouts He was named the team’s most outstanding defender. At Dayton, McKenney had 34 appearances (31 starts) in his two seasons with the Flyers.
