BIO: Zack Schilawski comes to the RailHawks after spending two years in the MLS, with the New England Revolution. Schilawski was drafted ninth by the Revolution in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft and had 50 appearances over two seasons, including 28 starts. He netted a hat trick in his first career match against Toronto FC, becoming just the third rookie to registera hat trick and the first to do so in a home opener. Schilawski, a Cary native, played his college soccer at Wake Forest, where he made a school-record 99 appearances. Throughout his career, Schilawski scored 40 goals and recorded 20 assists. He helped lead Wake Forest to the College Cup all four years, including the school’s first National Championship in 2007 scoring the game-winning goal at WakeMed Soccer Park. Schilawski was teammates at Wake Forest with Austin da Luz and Akira Fitzgerald. |
