BIO: Nic Platter returns to the RailHawks after playing for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers for a year. Platter began his professional career with the Minnesota Thunder in 2005 and played there for five years, for a total of 85 appearances. In 2010, Platter signed with the RailHawks and played in 10 games before moving to Fort Lauderdale for the 2011 season. Platter played college soccer at the University of California, Davis, where he is still considered one of the best goalkeepers in the university’s history. He finished his four-year career as the all-time shutout leader with 17, and as the career saves leader with 195. |
