BIO: Brian Shriver returns for his second season with the RailHawks, after the RailHawks acquired Shirver prior to the 2012 season in a transfer from league rival, Fort Lauderdale Strikers.  Shriver was drafted in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft by FC Dallas in the second round, but turned down a contract to finish his undergraduatestudies at the University of North Carolina.  In 2009, he signed with Miami FC, which became the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the NASL.  In his first year with Miami, Shriver scored four goals in twenty-nine appearances. In 2011, Shriver tallied 11 goals and 3 assist in the Strikers run to the NASL Finals.  Shriver played for the UNC Men’s soccer team from 2005-2008.  During the offseason, he played for various teams in the USL Premier Development League.  He played for Carolina Dynamo and Colorado Rapids U23’s in 2007, and represented the RailHawks U-23’s in 2008.  He scored six goals in 13 appearances for the RailHawks U-23’s.
