A week-long training camp for the U.S. Under-15 and Under-14 Girls’ National Teams will begin this weekend at WakeMed Soccer Park. The U-15 GNT is led by head coach Damon Nahas, current CASL Technical Director and a former RailHawks assistant coach. The U-15 and U-14 Girl’s National Team training camp joins the list of U.S. Soccer activities at WakeMed Soccer Park. The soccer park first opened to the U.S. Men’s National Team in there preparation for the 2002 FIFA World Cup. WakeMed Soccer Park and the RailHawks have continued to host both the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams including two recent visits in 2011, when the USMNT trained for a week in preparation for a friendly match against Spain and the USWNT played Japan in preparation for the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
