Another exciting week of NASL action is in the books. This week we witnessed a record NASL crowd of 13,151 for the inaugural match in San Antonio but the high-flying Puerto Rico Islanders spoiled the Scorpions party with a 4-0 victory, placing them atop the League Standings.

We also had a 1-0 victory for Tampa Bay over Edmonton in their home opener as the re-branded Rowdies, a rematch of the 2011 NASL Championship Series between Fort Lauderdale and Minnesota. as well as a shoot-out classic between Carolina and Atlanta featuring eight goals.
