RailHawks Enjoy the Day at SAS Institute

Players run clinics for employees and children

The Carolina RailHawks players and coaches spent the morning and afternoon at SAS Institute with its employees on Tuesday. The RailHawks and their mascot, Swoops, spent the early part of the day at the SAS daycare playing and teaching soccer fundamentals with the group of kids.

"It's always fun to get out into the community with the team," said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke.  "The group of employees and the children were great to be around and the guys enjoyed interacting with the fans."

RailHawks players spent the afternoon with SAS employees, demonstrating and teaching passing drills before playing games of possession with employees. To finish off the day, RailHawks players divided themselves between the two SAS teams and played a game refereed by Head Coach Colin Clarke. The game ended in a 2-2 tie and was decided in a penalty shoot out.
