This Thursday, April 12, the Carolina RailHawks will host three key professional soccer leaders and facilitate an open discussion on the future of professional soccer in the Triangle. This is the opportunity for soccer fans of the Triangle to show MLS, NASL, and the RailHawks owners just how much passion for the sport is in the area. Mark Abbott, President of Major League Soccer and key decision maker on the MLS Expansion Committee, Aaron Davidson, Vice-President of Traffic Sports (RailHawks owners), and David Downs, Commissioner of North American Soccer League, will be participating. The event will start at noon at Backyard Bistro, the RailHawks new game-day concessionaire.
The agenda will be as follows:
Noon:Pre-event party hosted by the RailHawks with lunch specials featuring Backyard Bistro’s award winning North Carolina Bar-B-Que. Fans will get the chance to mingle and meet RailHawks, players and staff as well as other guests.
1:00 PM: Fan Forum moderated by the Voice of the RailHawks, Dean Linke will start inside the restaurant. Fans are encouraged to ask questions to our panel of guests. This is the time to make a lasting impression about the passion and commitment of fans in the area.
